THE PROJECT
The 102-unit senior housing with services facility, part of the West End development, will offer affordable deluxe studios and one and two bedroom apartments based on income guidelines. The $30 million venture is managed by Isabella Management Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Isabella Geriatric Center.
The project is Westchester County�s first affordable �green� building, complying with LEED certification through the New York State Energy Research and Development Administration�s (NYSERDA) new construction program. The residential floors of the Manor are modularly constructed through technology that economizes costs. The units are factory-built, then transported to the site, erected and placed by crane. The only work completed on-site is plumbing and work on the floor corridors.

Named after Frank J. Garito, a former New Rochelle mayor and President of NDR Group, the senior residence is part of a 30 year old vision of affordable housing Garito has worked to accomplish.
